Staff Corporate Engineer

📋 Description

• Define and own long-term identity architecture for Okta and device trust.
• Establish IaC standards and reusable Terraform modules for identity access.
• Define office network strategy across SF/NYC/Toronto; implement zero-trust.
• Own IT endpoint strategy for Mac and Windows; secure workforce devices.
• Serve as technical authority for major IT incidents and post-incident learning.
• Identify AI-enabled IT opportunities to enhance security and reliability.
• Drive access governance and compliance architecture with Security/Compliance.
• Act as a technical force multiplier; develop senior engineers and set standards.

🎯 Requirements

• 10+ years in corporate IT engineering; deep IAM and endpoint expertise.
• 5+ years owning large Okta tenants (5k+ users); SSO, SCIM, MFA, device trust.
• 3+ years of identity governance/automation with Okta Workflows/OIG.
• Expert IaC with Terraform; reusable modules; Python or PowerShell; REST APIs.
• Experience with MDM for Mac/Windows; IaC practices a plus.
• Proven technical leadership; architecture direction and cross-functional alignment.
• Enterprise network infra (firewalls, routing, wireless); zero-trust design.
• Strong written and verbal communication; explain strategy to engineers and stakeholders.
