Staff Collaboration Systems Engineer, Google Workspace

📋 Description

• Own Google Workspace end-to-end (Gmail, Calendar, Drive, Docs, Meet).
• Design collaboration architecture: standards, guardrails, retention, data protection.
• Lead incident response and troubleshooting for high-impact Workspace issues.
• Automate lifecycle and ops with Apps Script, Python, GAM, and APIs/SDKs.
• Integrate Workspace with identity/security/IT workflows (SSO, MDM, DLP).
• Lead cross-functional projects like migrations and domain consolidations.

🎯 Requirements

• 8+ years in IT systems or collaboration engineering.
• BS in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or equivalent.
• Deep Google Workspace experience in large, multi-domain environments.
• Strong systems design & troubleshooting across clients, network, identity, backend.
• Scripting/automation: Apps Script, GAM, Python; Google Workspace APIs/SDKs.
• Security/compliance: DLP, retention, e-discovery, external sharing.
