Staff Business Systems Engineer – Core Financials & Tax

📋 Description

• Lead architecture, configuration, enhancement, and support of NetSuite Core Financials and Tax.
• Drive automation across Core Financials: GL, intercompany, close, and reporting.
• Design and support tax solutions: Sales/Use Tax, VAT/GST.
• Implement and maintain NetSuite integrations with tax engines and invoicing.
• Develop NetSuite customizations using SuiteScript, SuiteFlow, Saved Searches.
• Lead ERP projects from requirements to deployment and post-production support.

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in IS, CS, Finance, Accounting, or related field.
• 10+ years with enterprise financial systems and ERP.
• 5+ years NetSuite ERP experience focused on Core Financials and Tax.
• Strong understanding of accounting operations and financial controls.
• Familiarity with ASC 606 and global multi-entity accounting.
• Experience implementing tax engines like Avalara or Vertex.
• Strong technical expertise with SuiteScript, SuiteFlow, Saved Searches, and SuiteTalk APIs.
• Experience designing ERP integrations using middleware and iPaaS.
