Staff Backend Engineer

📋 Description

• Architect and build high-throughput backend services for real-time data.
• Lead technical design reviews for new features and system improvements.
• Design event-driven distributed systems that are resilient and observable.
• Define stable APIs for internal and external consumers with frontend teams.
• Improve engineering excellence via code reviews, standards, testing, and incident practices.
• Build and maintain CI/CD workflows enabling rapid, secure delivery.

🎯 Requirements

• 10+ years building scalable backend systems in production.
• 4+ years in Go, or 4+ years in Java/Kotlin/C#/Python or C/C++/Rust.
• Led end-to-end technical initiatives: architecture and delivery.
• Designed distributed systems (event-driven, messaging, consistency).
• Built cloud-native services; AWS preferred; strong security fundamentals.
• Mentored engineers; able to communicate and align teams.
