Staff AI Engineer

📋 Description

• Set vision and architecture for scalable, secure backend systems and platform services.
• Lead end-to-end backend services, APIs, and data pipelines powering integrations.
• Drive cloud-native patterns with HIPAA-compliant security and performance.
• Lead applied AI initiatives; integrate AI models and tooling into products.
• Collaborate with Product, Data Science, Analytics, and Ops to translate requirements.
• Mentor engineers and promote technical excellence and continuous delivery.

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in CS, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
• 10+ years of software development delivering scalable backend systems.
• Deep expertise in Java/Spring Boot and/or Python; microservices.
• Hands-on with cloud-native apps on AWS and/or GCP (Kubernetes, Cloud Run).
• Strong experience with RESTful and GraphQL APIs and data-intensive services.
• Proficiency with relational and NoSQL databases: PostgreSQL, MongoDB.
• Hands-on AI/ML integration in production and AI-powered tooling.
