📋 Description

• Architect the inference pipeline for LLMs with Life360 data.
• Select models and hosting: self-hosted vs API-based.
• Build scalable serving infra: latency, batching, caching, fallbacks.
• Create the eval loop to measure product impact.
• Own the cost model and unit economics for inference.
• Define data persisted/summarized for LLM context.

🎯 Requirements

• Deep engineering experience building AI systems in production at scale.
• Fluent in modern LLM serving (vLLM, TGI, SGLang, hosted APIs).
• Experience with evals and building harnesses.
• Able to design cloud infra: select services, integration, scalable and cost-aware.
• Hands-on with agent systems, prompt engineering, and MCP/function calling.
• Privacy architecture for multi-user context with different rights.
