Staff Accountant - SG&A

📋 Description

• Assist with month-end close, including journal entries and supporting docs.
• Support audit requests by preparing documentation and responding to auditors.
• Assist with process improvements as the company expands into new markets.
• Prepare prepaid asset records, including capitalization, amortization, and entries.
• Prepare capital lease accounting records including amortization schedules and lease analyses.
• Perform monthly balance sheet reconciliations and investigate discrepancies.

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance
• 2 years accounting experience (public accounting or relevant corporate accounting experience preferred)
• CPA desirable
• Strong interpersonal skills and consistent follow through on tasks
• Experience with financial accounting systems (Intacct helpful)
• Advanced proficiency in MS Excel and MS Office required
