Staff Accountant

📋 Description

• Design scalable accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls for US GAAP compliance.
• Own parts of the month-end close: journals, reconciliations, and schedules.
• Develop, implement, and document new accounting policies; advise on enhancements.
• Support the financial audit process; prepare and respond to audit requests.
• Perform monthly variance analysis with business context.
• Collaborate with Finance and cross-company teams to identify gaps and automate processes.

🎯 Requirements

• Curious and willing to adopt AI tools.
• Degree in Accounting; CPA a plus, not required.
• 2+ years in tech company accounting (public or private).
• Strong US GAAP knowledge; able to research and communicate issues.
• Notion experience is a nice-to-have.
• Self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced, proactive environment.
