Staff Accountant

📋 Description

• Support monthly and quarterly close processes, including journal entries, reconciliations, and flux analysis.
• Manage accounting activities for cash, prepaid expenses, fixed assets, and intangibles.
• Provide reports and analyses for internal stakeholders to support financial reporting.
• Assist audit requests and ensure compliance with internal controls and external regulations.
• Identify and implement improvements to accounting processes to boost efficiency.
• Assist in developing and implementing new accounting policies and practices, including AI-driven automation.

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 1+ years of relevant accounting experience (Big 4 or high-growth company preferred).
• CPA or working towards CPA designation.
• Proficiency with accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
• Hands-on, detail-oriented with strong ownership.
• Process-oriented with interest in AI, automation and systems.
