Staff Accountant

📋 Description

• Prepare journal entries, schedules, and GAAP analysis for month-end close.
• Assist external tax accountants with Federal and State tax returns.
• Work with external auditors providing documentation for annual audit.
• File state sales tax returns and 1099s as needed.
• Research and stay current on tax laws.
• Accounts payable processing.

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
• 2–4 years accounting experience in corporate setting
• Sound GAAP knowledge
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Google Suite; NetSuite knowledge preferred
• Excellent verbal and written communication
• Highly detail-oriented with strong time management
