Refine tooling design for manufacturing with teams on material selection.
Research and identify new materials, technologies, and finish options.
Estimate prototype and production tooling costs including secondary processes.
Participate in supplier audits and final supplier selection.
Write RFQs for prototype and development tooling.

🎯 Requirements

Bachelor's degree in mechanical/materials engineering, or 10+ years injection mold tooling.
10+ years direct hands-on injection mold design and/or construction.
Strong 3D CAD skills with advanced surfacing and large assemblies.
Siemens NX fluency or ability to learn quickly.
Knowledge of scientific molding and Moldflow simulations.
Willing to travel up to 50% and lift up to 40 lbs; long hours.
