Sr. Technical Account Manager

📋 Description

• Advise early adopters on architecture and product adoption during launches
• Operate within ROE with Core TAM ownership; manage friction
• Lead time-boxed technical sprints with high-value customers
• Execute structured handbacks to Core TAM with transition criteria
• Partner with Forward Deployed Engineering to align roadmaps with product rollouts
• Capture telemetry from early adopters and translate into actionable signals for Product/Engineering
• Coordinate with Product Acceleration Team specialists to transition workloads into TAM
• Evaluate early-stage software and co-author Go/No-Go criteria for NPI readiness
• Act as elite response squad during high-priority NPI launches
• Document repeatable adoption patterns and expansion triggers into engineering playbooks
• Partner with TAM 1:Many / Knowledge Scaling to train 100+ global TAMs

🎯 Requirements

• 8+ years IT experience; 4+ years in TAM/SA/Consultant IAM
• Deep SaaS infra, SDLC, and identity expertise
• IAM: SAML 2.0, WS-Federation, OAuth, OpenID Connect
• Hybrid IT with legacy apps and non-standard identity support
• Enterprise apps providing identity/attributes (ITSM, HR)
• SaaS deployments: Salesforce, Box, Office 365, Workday
• Lifecycle management to 3rd party systems (SCIM, HR provisioning)
• Security, performance monitoring, and 3rd party signals (SIEM, MDM, WAF)
• Engineering intuition to distinguish config gaps from core defects or RPS limits
• Web-scale infra understanding: RTO and RPO
• Product intuition to translate friction into data-backed business cases
• Excellent communication across roles, from developers to CIO
• This position can be located remotely but may require travel under 20%
• Education: BA/BS/MS in CS/IT or related discipline or equivalent experience
