Sr. Supply Chain Planner (Starship)

📋 Description

• Demonstrate initiative in developing new methods/processes to ensure healthy component flow.
• Manage and improve demand and supply plans for Starship design group.
• Maintain accurate configurations of multi-level assemblies (BOMs).
• Develop stock level and reorder-point strategies based on criticality, lead time, and consumption.
• Develop and manage part retention policies to optimize warehouse space and reduce inventory.
• Collaborate with engineering to identify BOM items needing critical spares and determine spare quantities.

🎯 Requirements

• Advanced degree, or bachelor’s with 2+ years in engineering, purchasing, or supply chain.
• Experience in contract negotiation.
• Experience in material or production planning.
• Experience in operations or supply chain management.
• Experience in material cost control.
• Experience in master production scheduling.
• Managing external suppliers domestically and globally.
• Technical procurement and product development experience with commodity items.
• Strong negotiation and influencing skills.
• Analytical, problem solving, and organizational skills.
• Excellent written, verbal and presentation communication.
• Detail-oriented, adaptable to a fast-moving environment.
• Experience planning purchasing of commodity products with cross-functional teams.
• Must be available for extended hours and weekends.
• Willing to travel for business as needed.
• This position is based in Starbase, TX and requires onsite - remote work not considered.
• ITAR: U.S. citizen or eligible for required authorizations.
