Sr. Staff Software Engineer, Merchants

📋 Description

• Own end-to-end technical delivery for cross-team initiatives.
• Shape catalog and integration systems for scale, reliability, quality.
• Build ML-, GenAI-, and AI-assisted merchant experiences with guardrails.
• Contribute to onboarding and activation systems across teams.
• Partner on organic attribution and data-driven pathways to paid products.
• Mentor senior engineers and raise the bar for production readiness.

🎯 Requirements

• 10+ years in software engineering; senior staff or equivalent IC.
• Strong track record in commerce/ads with cross-team initiatives.
• Deep experience in systems design, API design, and data-intensive systems.
• Experience building or partnering on ML/AI/GenAI-adjacent systems.
• Catalog, integrations, or merchant platform experience is a plus.
• Experience with growth, measurement, or funnel optimization is a plus.
• Strong communication skills; influence tech direction without owning all details.
• Bachelor’s degree in CS, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience.
