Apply expertise to laser comm system development: design, analysis, validation
Verification testing: environmental qualification, performance, reliability, fault injection
Represent the laser comm system in program-level trades and issue resolution
Define requirements for high-data-rate laser comm in challenging conditions
Review test data and lead anomaly investigations and resolutions
Interface with manufacturing and supply chain to ensure producible designs

🎯 Requirements

Bachelor’s in physics, EE, or mechanical eng
5+ years laser tech, lab or field testing
Master/PhD in physics or engineering preferred
Experience with mixed-signal circuits, FPGA, Ethernet, DDR4, I2C, SPI
C++, LabVIEW, or Python programming
Active TS/SCI or DOE Level Q clearance or eligible
