Sr. Sourcing Specialist, Mechanical (Starship)

📋 Description

• Manage sourcing across precision machined parts, heat treat, coatings, forgings, castings.
• Quote, negotiate, and place POs for valve components per specs and schedules.
• Track supplier performance: quality, delivery, cost in a fast-paced env.
• Interpret drawings and specs to ensure manufacturability and cost efficiency.
• Communicate design changes to the supply base to reduce lead times.

🎯 Requirements

• Advanced degree; or bachelor’s + 2+ years in engineering, supply chain, or purchasing.
• 6+ years in related roles such as engineering, supply chain, or purchasing.
• Experience with MRP/ERP, BOMs, work orders, and purchase orders.
• Data analysis skills: Excel, SQL, PowerBI.
• Ability to read engineering drawings and specs for manufacturability.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management.
