Sr. Solutions Architect - Financial Services (Strategic Banking and Payments)

📋 Description

• Lead customer-focused architecture work for the Databricks platform in Financial Services.
• Identify use cases, develop architectures, and guide implementation with customers.
• Build reference architectures, how-tos, and demonstrations for clients.
• Travel to meet customers within your territory.
• Collaborate with sales, post-sales, product, and partners to drive outcomes.
• Establish trusted advisor relationships and champion open-source projects.

🎯 Requirements

• 10+ years in customer-facing pre-sales or consulting with big-data.
• Experience designing and architecting distributed data systems.
• Proficient in Python, SQL, Scala, Java, or R.
• Experience with global SIs, financial services tech, or data providers.
• Experience building solutions on AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Experience with data engineering tech such as Spark, Hadoop, Kafka.
• Experience with data warehousing tech (SQL, OLTP/OLAP/DSS).
• Undergraduate degree or higher in CS, Math, or EE.
