Sr. Software Engineer, Vehicle Engineering

📋 Description

• Architect end-to-end AI systems for launch vehicle engineering workflows.
• Leverage LLMs to automate tasks and accelerate production cycles.
• Collaborate with Propulsion, Structures, Dynamics, GNC, Avionics, Software, and production teams.
• Build AI-enabled tools to speed design, simulation, and flight operations.
• Provide technical leadership to align teams on AI standards and scalable implementations.
• Prototype AI-driven tools for real-time flight data analysis and reflight optimization.

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in aerospace/CS/mechanical or related field; or 6+ years experience.
• 4+ years in design, build, and operations of launch vehicles or complex aerospace systems.
• Ability to influence cross-functional teams without direct authority.
• Experience with ML for time-series, simulation acceleration, or predictive modeling (PyTorch/TensorFlow).
• Hands-on experience with LLM-based systems, RAG, LangChain, or LlamaIndex.
• Prototype and iterate on AI workflows for automation in engineering or manufacturing.
• Knowledge of secure AI pipelines and data policies.
• Must be available to work extended hours and weekends; travel as needed.
