Sr Software Engineer, Edge

📋 Description

• Design, build, and optimize data-collection agents for Windows, Linux, and macOS.
• Collaborate with UX designers, PMs, and engineers to translate requirements into features.
• Own the development lifecycle from design through testing and maintenance.
• Develop automated tests and test plans to ensure quality.
• Support SaaS products, including 24x7 on-call rotations.
• Stand-by, on-call, or off-hours duties.

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or related field.
• Strong OS fundamentals: memory, CPU scheduling, filesystems, processes, networking.
• Exceptional troubleshooting and debugging skills.
• Write clean, maintainable, and testable code.
• Experience using AI tools to accelerate delivery without sacrificing quality.
• Excellent verbal and written communication; clearly articulate complex topics.
• Strong ownership mindset; deliverables meet high standards.
• Driven to turn ideas into high-quality software.
• Experience with TypeScript and Node.js.
• Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure).
• Experience with assertion frameworks to automate regression tests (e.g., Mocha).
• Experience with data-intensive apps or data streams processing.
• Experience working remotely across timezones.
• Comfortable speaking up and sharing ideas.
• Sense of humor appreciated.
