Sr. Software Development Engineer - Control Plane, Reliability, Backend (Flexibility on level)

📋 Description

• Replace legacy Python/Ansible with centralized orchestration platform and modular workflows.
• Engineer execution patterns with retries, idempotency, rate limits and safe rollbacks for fleet capacity.
• Implement safe rollouts using segmentation, canaries, and automated health checks to limit blast radius during upgrades.
• Add strong observability and auditability (metrics, traces, replayable histories); participate in on-call rotation and drive software fixes after incidents.
• Integrate AI/LLM capabilities to accelerate legacy code migration and enhance safe operational outcomes via intelligent triage and automated runbook generation.

🎯 Requirements

• BS/MS in Computer Science or related field with 5+ years building and operating production-grade software.
• Proficient in backend languages Go, Java, C++, or Rust.
• Deep experience designing and operating distributed systems including concurrency, failure handling, performance optimization, and data modeling.
• Proven automation using REST APIs and Swagger with idempotency and safe rollout guarantees.
• Hands on experience with cloud platforms AWS and GCP with GKE and Cloud SQL; expertise in Docker and GitLab CI/CD.
