Sr. Propulsion Thermal Analyst (Raptor Combustion Devices)

📋 Description

• Conduct thermal analyses on Raptor hardware using FEA for all flight phases
• Own thermal design from high-level analysis to flight/ground validation
• Collaborate across design, production, test, launch, reliability teams
• Validate models with test data to ensure design criteria alignment
• Support design/manufacturing and reliability improvements with qualified changes

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or physics
• 4+ years in thermal analysis (academic or professional)
• Master's in mechanical/aerospace/materials or physics
• 6+ years in thermal analysis
• Experience with FEA software and post-processing
• Experience with Thermal Desktop and/or ANSYS Workbench
• Experience with 0-D and 1-D thermal/fluid networks
• Hands-on rocket engines or automotive engine design
• Able to perform hand calculations to validate models
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
