- Partner with hardware designers to derive hardware requirements for inverters and motor control.
- Manage requirements traceability using Polarion or DOORS for safety-critical functions.
- Define hardware-to-software and hardware-to-mechanical interface documents (ICDs).
- Generate and maintain AEH certification artifacts per DO-254.
- Coordinate with DERs to review compliance data and DAL A/B.
- Lead PDR/CDR/TRR design reviews with analysis.
🎯 Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s in Electrical or Systems Engineering.
- 5+ years in hardware systems engineering, V&V, or AEH qualification (aerospace/regulatory).
- Deep knowledge of power electronics, PMAC motor control, and inverter topologies.
- Experience planning/executing environmental/functional testing (DO-160, MIL-STD-810).
- Proficiency with Polarion, DOORS, and Jama.
- Strong knowledge of DO-254 design assurance lifecycles and verification.
