📋 Description

• Verifies test requisitions and notes discrepancies.
• Verifies patient identity prior to collection.
• Obtains blood specimens by venipuncture or finger sticks.
• Maintains specimen integrity using aseptic technique.
• Tracks specimens with initials, dates, and times of collection.
• Maintains quality results and logs QC changes.

🎯 Requirements

• Minimum 5 years phlebotomy experience.
• BS/BA degree (preferred).
• High School Diploma (or equivalent) required.
• Phlebotomy Certification (state requirement when applicable).
• Bi-lingual - Fluent in Spanish and English.
