📋 Description

• Verify test requisitions and report discrepancies.
• Verify patient identification prior to collection.
• Obtain blood specimens by venipuncture or finger sticks.
• Maintain specimen integrity with aseptic technique and procedures.
• Track specimens by initialing, dating, and noting times of collection.
• Maintain a safe, compliant work environment per standards.

🎯 Requirements

• Minimum 5 years phlebotomy experience.
• BS/BA degree preferred.
• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Phlebotomy certification may be required by state.
