Sr Payroll Manager

📋 Description

• Lead payroll team handling 5,000+ employees across multiple states.
• Own payroll strategy, automation, and alignment with enterprise priorities.
• Oversee controls, data integrity, and payroll compliance; audit readiness.
• Partner with Finance, HR, Legal; provide payroll insights and regulatory alignment.
• Manage vendor relationships and payroll system implementations/integrations.
• Ensure accurate calculation of complex pay components and regulatory updates.

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or related field; Master’s degree or MBA a plus.
• 8–10 years payroll experience, including 3+ years in a people management role.
• Experience managing payroll in a high-growth, multi-state environment with 5,000+ employees.
• Expertise with Workday Payroll, UltiPro (UKG Pro) or equivalent; system implementation experience preferred.
• Certified Payroll Professional (CPP) strongly preferred.
• Knowledge of payroll regulations, tax compliance, and audits.
