Sr. Network Security Administrator

📋 Description

• Provide SME on network security, firewalls and best practices
• Manage firewall configurations within SpaceX enterprise network
• Analyze and propose network solutions for security challenges
• Maintain network security systems by applying patches and maintenance
• Build threat models and assess risk for proposed architectures
• Collaborate with SpaceX teams to define needs and communicate security policies

🎯 Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalency
• 5+ years network security experience; OR 8+ years IT networking
• 3+ years firewall experience
• Proficient with Palo Alto/Juniper firewalls, IDS/IPS, VPNs, NAC, ACLs
• Familiarity with networking protocols and OSI model
• On-site in Washington, DC; remote or hybrid not allowed
