Develop design concepts from a clean sheet and size vehicle structures for flight loads
Collaborate with multi-system teams to balance mass, cost, and capability
Create detailed designs and NX CAD models for components, assemblies, and integration
Build FE models to assess designs and meet vehicle needs
Apply hand calculations and empirical formulas for rapid iteration
Validate designs with development tests on joints and elements

🎯 Requirements

Bachelor's degree in an engineering discipline
5+ years of mechanical design and analysis experience
Experience designing, analyzing, building, and testing high-performance mechanical systems
Experience with FEA or multiphysics tools (NASTRAN, ABAQUS, ANSYS)
Proficiency in Python or Matlab for analysis
Strong written and oral communication skills
