  • Own end-to-end multi-state U.S. payroll processing.
  • Ensure accuracy, timeliness, and regulatory compliance.
  • Manage regular and off-cycle payroll, incl bonuses and equity.
  • Oversee payroll tax compliance: withholding, remittance, audits.
  • Lead vendor relationships to optimize payroll operations.
  • Maintain strong internal controls and audit readiness.

🎯 Requirements

  • 7+ years in multi-state payroll & benefits.
  • Independently run payroll operations.
  • Deep knowledge of U.S. payroll tax regs and benefits.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience with enterprise HRIS & payroll platforms (Workday, ADP, etc).
