Sr. Manager of SOX control

📋 Description

• Own the end-to-end SOX 404 program, building ICFR for IPO.
• Lead remediation of control gaps; design preventive/detective controls.
• Oversee control testing and monitoring; liaison with auditors.
• Partner across Finance, Legal, IT, and Ops to strengthen ITGCs.
• Build and lead the SOX team; report status to executives.

🎯 Requirements

• CPA required; Big 4/public accounting or industry SOX preferred.
• 8+ years accounting or audit; 3–5 years SOX program mgmt.
• US GAAP, SEC rules, COSO, PCAOB; ITGC/app controls a plus.
• SOX readiness in pre-IPO/high-growth/multinational firms.
• Design controls frameworks; draft narratives and flowcharts; audit-ready docs.
• Strong leadership and communication for a fast-paced, pre-IPO environment.
