Sr. Manager, Joint Venture & VIE

📋 Description

• Own end-to-end JV accounting: monthly close, financial statements, partner reporting.
• Manage distributions, capital calls, and waterfall calculations per JV agreements.
• Serve as primary accounting contact for JV partners; manage timelines and reports.
• Manage intercompany accounting across JV entities; eliminate intercompany transactions and consolidate.
• Coordinate with external auditors on JV-level audits and audit readiness.
• Lead ASC 810/VIE analysis; assess primary beneficiary and consolidation.

🎯 Requirements

• 7+ years of progressive accounting experience with JV/partnership/structured finance.
• Big 4 public accounting background plus industry experience building/accounting function.
• Deep ASC 810 and ASC 323 expertise; prepare and defend technical memos.
• Direct experience performing VIE primary beneficiary assessments and reassessments.
• Experience as managing member/operator-side JV accountant; GAAP reporting and distributions.
• CPA certification required.
