Sr Machine Learning Engineer, AI Research

📋 Description

• Design, train, and evaluate ML models across research and applied AI initiatives
• Run rapid, iterative experiments to test hypotheses and drive model improvements
• Collaborate with researchers and engineers to translate advances into production-ready systems
• Build and maintain ML pipelines for data ingestion, feature engineering, training, and evaluation
• Optimize model performance via fine-tuning, hyperparameter search, architecture exploration
• Contribute to rigorous experimentation; track results, document findings, share learnings with the broader team

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related field; 4+ years of industry or research experience (Master's or PhD a plus)
• Hands-on experience training and evaluating ML models, including language models
• Proficiency in Python and ML frameworks (PyTorch or TensorFlow)
• Familiarity with MLOps tooling (MLflow, Weights & Biases, Kubeflow, or similar)
• Understanding of NLP, computer vision, and/or reinforcement learning
• Ability to move fast without sacrificing rigor; know when to prototype and when to productionize
