📋 Description

  • Ensure systems and processes for launch ops and recovery are designed, maintained, and executed.
  • Collaborate with Starship and Falcon teams to optimize launch pad process health.
  • Identify high-risk refurbishment and ops processes; implement improvements.
  • Lead root-cause investigations to resolve major launch issues.
  • Maintain feedback to drive hardware inputs for reliable launches; use data to prioritize issues.
  • Participate in PDR/CDR; ensure DFQ/DFM, risk mitigation, and validation incl. NDE.

🎯 Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering or physics.
  • 5+ years in quality, manufacturing, or design engineering.
  • Master’s degree in engineering preferred (aerospace/mechanical).
  • Experience supporting high-volume production of electro-mechanical or composite systems.
  • Knowledge of Lean, Six Sigma, RCA, APQP, PFMEA, control plans.
  • Experience leading engineering projects end-to-end.
