- Ensure systems and processes for launch ops and recovery are designed, maintained, and executed.
- Collaborate with Starship and Falcon teams to optimize launch pad process health.
- Identify high-risk refurbishment and ops processes; implement improvements.
- Lead root-cause investigations to resolve major launch issues.
- Maintain feedback to drive hardware inputs for reliable launches; use data to prioritize issues.
- Participate in PDR/CDR; ensure DFQ/DFM, risk mitigation, and validation incl. NDE.
🎯 Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering or physics.
- 5+ years in quality, manufacturing, or design engineering.
- Master’s degree in engineering preferred (aerospace/mechanical).
- Experience supporting high-volume production of electro-mechanical or composite systems.
- Knowledge of Lean, Six Sigma, RCA, APQP, PFMEA, control plans.
- Experience leading engineering projects end-to-end.
