Serve as responsible engineer for multiple launch pad mechanical systems and structures
Use FEM software (ANSYS, FEMAP) and hand calculations for design and disposition
Lead technicians in troubleshooting, maintenance, upgrades, and procedures
Develop and improve functional automation for the systems
Identify upgrades to launch pad hardware, software, and procedures
Lead refurbishment and launch operations with real-time troubleshooting

🎯 Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in mechanical or aerospace engineering (or related)
5+ years experience with electro-mechanical hardware
Experience with SOLIDWORKS or Siemens NX
Experience with ANSYS or FEMAP
Python or other programming for data review/analysis
Knowledge of ASME B31.3 and ASME BPV Code Section VIII
