Sr. FPGA Engineer (Starshield)

📋 Description

• Own architecture of digital, signal processing, and comms systems for SpaceX satellites.
• Implement RTL logic designs and signal processing algorithms.
• Integrate designs onto FPGA/SoC platforms.
• Bring up and validate devices that fly in space.
• Collaborate with RF/antenna, software, and DSP teams on SDR systems.

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's in CS/EE/math/engineering + 5+ yrs software dev; or 7+ yrs dev in lieu of degree.
• 2+ years experience developing for FPGA platforms.
• 2+ years experience with Verilog, SystemVerilog, or VHDL.
• Experience integrating logic onto SoC platforms and designing high-throughput PS/PL interfaces.
• Embedded C/C++ experience or significant software language experience.
• Firmware development for Xilinx FPGA platforms using Xilinx toolchain.
• Experience interfacing with high-rate conversion interfaces (Xilinx RFSoC, AD9361).
• Knowledge of DSP concepts and signal processing including FFT, FEC, modulation, etc.
