Sr. Finance Systems Analyst

📋 Description

• Own and deliver portfolio-level financial analysis for Clinical Solutions.
• Lead project financial oversight from award to closeout.
• Perform variance analysis (actuals vs forecast vs budget).
• Partner with project finance teams for data integrity in portfolio reporting.
• Support forecasting and planning with clear assumptions.
• Monitor budget consumption, earned value, and change orders.
• Provide forward-looking insights for leadership decisions.
• Develop and maintain trial operations KPIs linking to financials.
• Use Excel and Power BI to build dashboards for governance.
• Translate complex financial data into actionable insights for non-finance.
• Act as finance partner to Clinical Solutions department heads.
• Prepare executive materials summarizing portfolio performance.
• Support ad hoc analyses for Finance, Clinical Ops, or exec mgmt.
• Collaborate with PM, Clinical Ops, Data Mgmt, and Finance teams.

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree + 5 years related experience.
• 5-8 years in project finance/FP&A in CRO/clinical trials.
• Advanced Excel skills (financial modelling, scenario analysis, large data sets).
• Power BI or similar BI tools knowledge.
• Strong presentation and communication to senior leaders.
• Understand clinical trial financial drivers and lifecycles.
• Translate data into clear narratives for non-finance stakeholders.
• Ability to work in fast-paced, matrixed environments.
