Develop and execute site-specific air permitting strategies at SpaceX sites
Assist planning for facility changes/new construction; review equipment and programs
Serve as a subject matter expert on the Clean Air Act; interpret across jurisdictions
Track and interpret new and proposed federal/state air regulations; advise engineering teams
Conduct internal air compliance audits and support external inspections across sites
Develop and maintain relationships with federal, state, and county regulators

🎯 Requirements

Bachelor’s degree
5+ years in air permitting design, development, and execution under federal/state requirements
Master’s degree in environmental management or engineering (preferred)
Expertise in federal air regs: Clean Air Act, NSPS, NESHAP, PSD, Title V
Proven permitting execution at complex sites and regulatory relations
Strong written and verbal communication; ability to handle highly technical data
