- Lead electrical system and subsystem development from concept to production.
- Define electrical architectures for sensors, radios, power distribution, and control electronics.
- Design and review schematics and PCB layouts for mixed-signal and RF boards.
- Develop, validate, and optimize power systems (battery, DC/DC, sequencing) for rugged environments.
- Implement embedded firmware for real-time control, sensor fusion, and communications stacks.
- Perform hardware bring-up, debugging, and system integration with lab equipment.
๐ฏ Requirements
- Bachelorโs or Masterโs degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field.
- Proven electrical design and system integration experience for complex hardware (aerospace/defense/robotics/wireless).
- Proficiency with schematic capture and PCB layout tools (Altium, OrCAD, KiCad) and DFM/DFX.
- C/C++ embedded firmware (RTOS, bootloaders, HAL) with ARM Cortex, ESP32, STM32.
- RF front-ends, antennas, Wi-Fi/LTE, spectrum analysis, RF test gear.
- Power electronics design: battery management, DC/DC converters, sequencing, thermal management.
- MIL-STD/DO-178/DO-254 ruggedization concepts or other regulatory requirements preferred.
- Strong analytical and troubleshooting abilities; excellent communication across cross-functional teams.
