📋 Description

• Lead payments & risk DS; set strategy and 1–3 year roadmap.
• Move from traditional modeling to next-gen ML platforms; use new data.
• Build and mentor a high-performing AI/ML team.
• Align with executives and product leads to drive decisions.
• Shape AI/ML strategy and long-term planning.
• Oversee payment models, fraud prevention, and loss forecasting.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deploy ML in products.

🎯 Requirements

• 15+ years in payments, risk and fraud; 7+ years in leadership.
• Proven AI/ML leader; builds teams with measurable impact.
• Deep familiarity with payments ecosystem in regulated FinTech.
• PhD in CS/Stats/Math/OR preferred.
• Experience deploying GNNs/Transformers in low-latency prod.
• Tools: Python (PySpark, scikit-learn); SQL; Snowflake/Hive; AWS; MLOps.
