- Diagnose and resolve issues across a range of HVAC equipment, including rooftop units, split systems, boilers, chillers, and heat pumps.
- Conduct scheduled maintenance and system inspections to maximize performance and extend equipment life.
- Identify and troubleshoot electrical and mechanical faults in HVAC systems.
- Repair or replace failed components including motors, compressors, fans, and thermostats.
- Read and interpret wiring diagrams, schematics, and manufacturer documentation.
- Clearly communicate service findings and next steps with clients and colleagues.
๐ฏ Requirements
- High school diploma or GED; technical school training or HVAC certification is a plus.
- 5 or more years of hands-on experience as an HVAC Service Technician or in a comparable field role.
- Knowledge of Commercial HVAC systems, electrical circuits, and mechanical components.
- Experience servicing or installing VRF, VAV, RTU, AHU, Chillers or other commercial HVAC systems.
- EPA 608 certification (required).
- Ability to read technical documents, blueprints, and equipment schematics.
