- Diagnose and repair large-tonnage chillers (air-cooled and water-cooled), incl. centrifugal, screw, and scroll configurations.
- Troubleshoot and program DDC/BAS building controls systems to optimize performance.
- Commission and start up chiller and control systems, optimizing for peak efficiency.
- Identify and resolve electrical, mechanical, and controls-related issues.
- Conduct scheduled preventative maintenance on chillers, cooling towers, pumps, boilers, and related equipment.
- Interpret blueprints, wiring diagrams, and control schematics.
๐ฏ Requirements
- Active TDLR HVAC Journeyman License (Texas).
- EPA 608 Universal Certification.
- 5+ years of commercial HVAC experience with heavy chiller systems.
- Demonstrated experience with BAS/DDC controls platforms.
- Strong electrical troubleshooting across low and high voltage systems.
- Ability to work independently with limited oversight and hold a valid Texas driverโs license.
