- Design high voltage battery pack components across multiple aircraft programs
- Collaborate with CAE, quality, testing, supply chain, and manufacturing to ensure success of designs
- Provide hands-on prototyping, build, and root cause support throughout the design cycle
- Work closely with integration and certification teams to meet FAA certification requirements
- Push the boundaries of aerospace battery design to meet stringent design requirements
🎯 Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Aerospace Engineering, or a related field
- 5+ years of mechanical design experience, preferably in high voltage battery design for automotive or aerospace
- Strong engineering fundamentals (structural design, materials, statics, dynamics, heat transfer, fluids)
- Solid background in CAD (NX experience preferred), tolerance stack analysis, and 2D drafting with GD&T
- Experience developing parts with various manufacturing processes in prototype and mass production
- Hands-on prototype and build experience
