Participate in equipment concept development balancing specs, process needs, cost, and lead time.
Lay out NFPA79/NEC/UL508A electrical panels and create electrical, pneumatic, and fluid schematics.
Architect, write, and debug PLC code for manufacturing applications.
Develop robot systems to automate manufacturing of vehicle sub-components.
Implement ANSI/RIA15.06/OSHA compliant safety systems for robots, gantries, conveyors, and equipment.
Generate simple HMI screens for complex machinery with troubleshooting feedback.

🎯 Requirements

Bachelor's degree in engineering.
5+ years experience in automation and controls design/commissioning for industrial applications.
Master's degree in engineering (preferred).
Experience with robotics (Kuka, ABB, Fanuc).
PLC programming experience, preferably Siemens TIA Portal and Beckhoff TwinCat 3.
HMI and SCADA programming experience.
