Mechanical Engineer

We’re looking for an experienced mechanical engineer who can independently own subassemblies and contribute to cross-functional projects. This role is ideal for someone passionate about building physical products that work reliably in the real world. There’s potential to grow into a lead role or specialize in analysis, manufacturing, or system-level integration.

• Designing mechanical components from concept to production
• Building CAD models, drawings, and BOMs
• Performing mechanical validation tests (e.g., fit, stress)
• Coordinating with suppliers and internal teams
• Collaborating with electrical and firmware engineers
• Supporting field issues and iterative design improvements
• Participating in design reviews, risk assessments, and FMEAs
• Ensuring designs meet quality, cost, and schedule goals

• 5+ years of design experience

• Understanding of mechanical design principles and materials
• Proficiency in 3D CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, Creo)
• Experience with DFM
• Familiarity with GD&T and tolerance stack-ups
• GD&T experience based on ISO or ASME

• Experience with prototyping and lab tools
• Strong work ethic and good written and verbal communication skills
• Good written and spoken English

• Documentation and release using PDM/PLM systems
• FEA modeling (e.g., ANSYS, Abaqus)
• Thermal or vibration analysis experience
• Manufacturing process knowledge (injection molding, CNC, sheet metal)
• Experience with ISO/ASME/IPC standards
• Hands-on experience with testing (stress, fatigue, thermal, etc.)
