Job Description

Speechify is seeking a Tech Lead for the Web Core Product & Chrome Extension to join our team in Katowice, Poland. You will drive the technical vision and delivery for Speechify's web platform and Chrome extension, partner with product and design, mentor engineers, and help scale a fast-growing product.

Responsibilities

• Define and lead the technical direction for the web core product and Chrome extension
• Own architecture decisions, code quality, performance, and reliability
• Mentor and grow a team of engineers, promote best practices and engineering standards
• Collaborate with product, design, and QA to deliver features on schedule
• Drive frontend excellence, testing strategies, and accessibility improvements

Requirements

• 5+ years of frontend or full-stack experience
• Strong proficiency with JavaScript/TypeScript and modern frontend technologies
• Hands-on experience building Chrome extensions
• Good understanding of web performance, accessibility, and testing
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
