Overview
Speechify is looking for a Senior Tech Lead to drive the Web Core Product and Chrome Extension from Hyderabad, India. You will lead the web platform, shape architecture, and mentor frontend engineers to deliver high-quality features for Speechify’s core product and Chrome extension.
Responsibilities
- Lead technical direction for the web core product and Chrome extension.
- Design scalable architectures, perform code reviews, and drive performance optimizations.
- Mentor frontend engineers, promote best practices, and grow the team.
- Collaborate with product, design, and backend teams to ship features.
- Ensure code quality, accessibility, and reliability across web experiences.
- Drive CI/CD improvements, testing strategies, and release processes.
Requirements
- 5+ years of frontend development with strong JavaScript/TypeScript.
- Experience with React and Chrome extension development.
- Proven leadership experience delivering complex web features.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Experience with web performance optimization, testing, and modern tooling.
- Comfort with Node.js or server-side JS is a plus.
