Speechify is a leading text-to-speech technology company that helps people listen to content. We are seeking a Senior Tech Lead to own the Web Core Product and Chrome Extension from Almaty, Kazakhstan.
Role Overview
Tech Lead, Web Core Product & Chrome Extension — Almaty, Kazakhstan. You will define the technical direction for Speechify's web platform, architect scalable features, and lead a frontend engineering team.
Responsibilities
- Define technical direction for the web core product
- Architect and implement scalable frontend features for the web core product and Chrome extension
- Lead code reviews, establish engineering standards, and mentor engineers
- Collaborate with product, design, and backend teams to ship robust, accessible web experiences
- Ensure performance, accessibility, and security considerations across the frontend stack
Qualifications
- 5+ years of frontend development experience
- Strong JavaScript/TypeScript skills
- Experience with React and Chrome extension development
- Proven leadership experience running teams and projects
Location
Almaty, Kazakhstan (on-site)
