Overview
Speechify is seeking a Software Engineer, Platform to join our team in Yokohama, Japan. You will help build and scale the platform that powers our reading and listening experiences.
Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain platform services and infrastructure.
- Collaborate with product and engineering teams to deliver reliable, scalable systems.
- Improve reliability, performance, and security of the platform.
- Contribute to architecture, tooling, and CI/CD pipelines.
- Mentor and collaborate with teammates as needed.
Qualifications
- 2+ years of software development experience.
- Proficiency in at least one programming language (e.g., Python, Go, or Java).
- Experience with distributed systems, REST APIs, and cloud environments.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred
- Experience with Kubernetes, Docker, AWS or GCP, PostgreSQL or Redis.
- Familiarity with platform engineering concepts.
