Overview
Speechify is seeking a Software Engineer, Platform in Surabaya, Indonesia to join our platform team. You will design, build, and scale core platform services that power Speechify's apps and experiences. Collaborate with product, data, and frontend teams to deliver reliable, high-performance systems.
Responsibilities
- Build and maintain platform services and APIs that power Speechify's products
- Improve reliability, performance, and scalability of the platform
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to plan, design, and ship features
- Write clean, well-tested code and participate in code reviews
- Implement monitoring, logging, and observability for platform components
- Contribute to on-call rotations and incident response as needed
Qualifications
- 3+ years of software engineering experience
- Proficiency in Python, Go, or TypeScript/Node.js
- Experience with cloud services (AWS), databases (PostgreSQL, Redis), and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes)
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and modern development practices
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
