Job Description

Speechify is seeking a Software Engineer, Platform to join our team in San Sebastián, Spain. This on-site role focuses on building and maintaining the platform services that power Speechify's core capabilities. You will work with cross-functional teams to design robust APIs, improve reliability, and deliver features quickly.

What you'll do

• Build, maintain, and evolve platform services that power Speechify's core functionality
• Design and implement scalable APIs and data models
• Collaborate with frontend, mobile, platform, and infrastructure teams
• Write tests, participate in code reviews, and contribute to architecture decisions
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and improve performance and reliability of platform components

Who you are

• Proven software engineering experience with a track record of shipping reliable software
• Strong knowledge of modern programming languages and software design patterns
• Experience building scalable services and RESTful APIs
• Familiarity with CI/CD, testing, and operating in a fast-paced environment
