The Role

Software Engineer, Platform based in Montreal, Canada. This full-time role focuses on building and maintaining scalable platform services that power Speechify products. You will collaborate with product and engineering teams to improve reliability, performance, and developer experience.

What You’ll Do

• Design, implement, test, and maintain platform services and infrastructure.
• Build robust APIs and internal tooling to support product teams.
• Improve CI/CD pipelines, monitoring, and deployment automation.
• Collaborate across teams to deliver high-quality software and scalable systems.
• Contribute to architecture decisions and performance optimizations.

What We’re Looking For

• 2+ years of professional software development experience (platform-focused is a plus).
• Strong knowledge of at least one modern programming language (e.g., Python, Go).
• Experience with cloud infrastructure (AWS, GCP, or Azure) and containerized environments (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Familiarity with distributed systems, APIs, and microservices.
